Did you know that animals can have complex social relationships? The strikingly colorful lettered aracari roosts communally in hollowed out trees with other adults and their fledgling offspring. Hamadryas baboons learn social skills as they grow from the other members of their troop. This learning comes in many different forms such as play, grooming, and observation.
Comparing Casques
Wreathed hornbills have a series of ridges along their comparatively flattened casque called wreaths. Males are larger and more colorful than their female counterparts.
