Through real animal encounters and hands-on activities, young explorers will uncover the surprising lessons and fascinating connections that link extinct creatures to the living animals roaming the zoo today, because some animals never truly disappear.

With up close animal experiences, exciting design missions, and build‑and‑test challenges, campers will strengthen their STEM skills while bringing wild ideas to life.

A mystery is unfolding at the zoo and we need your camper's help to crack the case! This week-long adventure will transform young campers into wildlife detectives, exploring the zoo with real scientific instruments. They will follow clues like animal tracks and scat, use scientific tools, and record evidence in their field notebooks to solve daily mysteries. With real animal encounters, hands-on activities and exhibit visits all along the way, the game is most definitely afoot.

In this action-packed camp, young adventurers will race through the world's most extraordinary habitats right here at the zoo, spotting dingoes in the outback, observing baboons on the savanna and searching for poison dart frogs deep in the rainforest! Along the way, we will uncover the astonishing abilities of animals from around the world through hands-on activities, team challenges and up close animal encounters. Campers can join for individual days or the entire week.
