Our camp curriculum are designed with age appropriate activities and structure. Please be mindful of the grade and age requirements for each camp when signing up your camper. For PreK4 camps, all campers must be at least 4 years old and be able to use the bathrooms independently by the start of camp.

Kinderzoo: Entering PreK4-K
Animal Tales or Story Safari
Enroll your little one for a fun-filled camp, packed with animals! Kinderzoo campers will discover that every living thing plays an important role in nature as they spend the week bringing classic children’s stories to life. Each day we will highlight a different story using animal encounters, dramatic play, games, and exhibit visits to create an immersive experience, sure to leave campers wanting more. Join us for two weeks by enrolling in both Animal Tales and Story Safari sessions!

Week of Wildlife: Entering 1st-3rd
Adventures in Nature
Earth, air, fire, water, and heart - how do people and animals utilize these elements? Campers will meet animals up close and complete nature-based challenges to discover how animals work with the elements to survive. From composting leftover food scraps, to creating safe habitats for local wildlife, your campers will learn about conservation actions that will create a healthy planet for us and our wild neighbors.

Wild Safari: Entering 1st-5th
Back to the Zoo-ture
Have you ever seen a wolf roaming Park Slope? How about a Woolly Mammoth in Windsor Terrace? Join us as we travel through time to discover the natural history of our Brooklyn backyard like never before! Campers will get up-close with amazing animals while exploring how their wild neighborhood has changed through the centuries - no DeLorean needed!

Wild Safari: Entering 1st-5th
Zoomanji
Roll the dice and jump into an epic week of zoo adventure! Each day, campers will come face-to-face with wild creatures, overcome unexpected quests, and journey through the realms of Zoo-manji. With inspiration from wildlife, up-close animal encounters, and science investigations, campers will work together to beat the game. Does your camper have what it takes to play Zoo-manji?

Zoo Explorer: Entering 4th-6th
Myths, Legends & Science of the Animal Kingdom
How did the turtle get its shell? How did the snake lose its legs? Campers will explore amazing animals in mythology and discover the natural phenomena behind legends and folklore. Through up-close animal encounters, investigations of scientific principles, games, and adventure, campers will uncover the amazing biology behind the adaptations that may have inspired these enduring stories!
DATES: Jul 6-10 or Aug 17-21
TIME: 9:00am-3:00pm

Entering PreK4-6th
Extended Care
Extended care is a great option for caregivers who can't pick up their camper at 3:00 pm and allows caregivers to pick up anytime before 5:30 pm. Extended care includes opportunities for free play, exhibit visits, and nature play exploration, weather permitting. Minimum number required to run the program.
