Explore the Prospect Park Zoo with a Tour Guide Volunteer as your expert! Each one hour-long tour focuses on a specific theme and are available to schools or other groups. If you are interested in learning more about our animals and exhibits, schedule your tour today!
Community/Family Days are available starting at $3,000 for 250 participants. Please email ppzeducation@wcs.org to learn more about that option for your group.

K - 8th Grade
ANY DAY year round, 60 minutes
Adaptations Tour
Explore the Prospect Park Zoo with an Expedition Leader as your guide! Our hour-long Adaptations tour will lead your class on an interactive journey through two main areas of the zoo. Your students will observe animals, have engaging discussions, and receive food to feed our domestic animals after your tour.
Series Dates: Any day year round
$175 / class
Admission into the zoo included. These programs are for a maximum of 45 individuals (inclusion class of 35 students and 10 adults).

Ecosystems & Changing Climate
Explore the Prospect Park Zoo with an Expedition Leader as your guide! This hour-long tour offers an immersive experience to explore the connections between wildlife, urban communities, climate change, and sustainability. Students will discuss the impacts of environmental shifts on animal habitats and human neighborhoods, strategies for protecting natural ecosystems, and approaches to fostering a sustainable future for both humans and wildlife.
