Volunteering
Our Prospect Park Zoo volunteer programs are currently on hiatus while our WCS Education spaces are under construction. We will open our volunteer applications later this year. We look forward to welcoming a new group of Adult and Volunteers in 2025! In the meantime, enjoy visiting the zoo and check back here for updates.
The Prospect Park Zoo offers two ways to volunteer. As a Youth Volunteer, you'll answer questions about animals, direct visitors around the zoo, and run activities for children and families. As an Adult Volunteer you’ll interpret at animal exhibits, lead tours, assist with educational programs, or have the opportunity to train as a narrator for daily Sea Lion feedings.
