At the heart of the park, bark hello to California sea lions and meet their keepers. Whether they’re high-fiving their keepers, showing off their dives, or catching fish on the fly, Stella and Beebe love to impress a crowd. Stop by for one of the three daily feeding demonstrations.
Following a major renovation, the Discovery Center has lots of new features to enjoy. Adults and children are welcome to visit the updated space that is composed of various nature exploration stations.
Summertime means lots of fun at the Prospect Park Zoo! Explore the Discovery Trail, where children can pretend to be frogs jumping on lily pads or spiders hanging out on a web. Learn from our Discovery Guides about birds by touching real eggs, nests or feathers. Walk among free roaming peacocks in Sea Lion Court. Visit the Barn and pretend you are a farmer milking the cows or feel the tickle of a goat eating out of your hand. Animals and lots of fun make for a great summer visit to the Prospect Park Zoo.
